 a Mike Lipkin

Surprise is the new expected. Uncertainty is the new certainty. Disruption is the new continuity. Everything is up for grabs all the time. But there is a logic to the chaos. The best people grasp the pattern of sustained change transforming their industries. They’re boldly going where their competitors are afraid to follow. They’re confident, committed and connected. And they’re magnetized to the organizations that reflect their vision for themselves.

As the President of Environics/Lipkin, Mike Lipkin literally spends his life in conversation with the Best and the Brightest. In partnership with Environics Research, one of Canada’s leading research houses, Mike tracks the trends transforming the way Canadians live, work and play.

Simply Case Studies a
Do contour, shape, size, performance, programming, and/or set-up make a difference when determining functionality as well as comfort and pressure management of a seating and mobility system? What happens when what is available doesn’t work, but you know that there is greater potential? Through the use of unique case studies, this session will review the decision-making process utilized in determining what seating or mobility system will work when “standard off-the-shelf systems” don’t. How do you know if you can change things? How do you know what is available? Can you modify, adapt and create new systems that allow your client to move or sit comfortably and functionally? We will take a look at the clinical presentation of a variety of clients, assessment/simulation data, and trial fittings required to achieve a final result. Utilization of “off-the-shelf” as well as custom configured systems will be explored throughout this session, as well as critical techniques utilized in achieving the desired end result.
